I had checked out several different brands of lcd tvs. Samsung wasn't one of them. Then I saw a floor demo model in Wal-mart. The picture was better than any of the others displayed.
I checked out the reviews on Amazon as well as other sites and decided
to go with the Samsung brand.
The price at Amazon was as good or better as any other plus being able to schedule a delivery date was ideal for us. Also we had the option of the delivery firm unpacking and setting up the set.
We've only had the set about a month, but, so far, are very happy with it.
