Reading some of the other reviews I thought this tv was going to be decent. and since it was on sale for $250.00 I decided to get it. I was completely surprised! It really is 1080p HD and it operates the 1080p at 60hz.
The picture quality is amazing and it's very bright. If this is your first HDTV remember that ALL HDTVs have a viewing area. So if you are a little higher or lower than the tv the quality will seem off.

If you have a ps3 or blu ray player just get an HDMI cable and it will blow you away. I have this in my bed room so the sound is more than enough, I normally have the sound on 18 and that's only like an 8th of how high the volume goes. The menu is a little tricky to get the hang of at first. But after a little while you get the hang of it. Also the remote isn't exactly ergonomic and can seem weird but all of the buttons are positioned good and it's very easy to use.

If you hook it up to a ps3 make sure you go into the ps3 settings and disable all other display sizes but 1080p because the ps3 will automatically default to 720p sometimes. I've played Borderlands, Fallout 3, Red faction, Metal gear solid 4, litle big planet, saint's row 2, and a bunch of rented games and it just blows me away everytime.

The 24" isn't even small. My previous tv was one of the older bulky 27" Tv's. The screen is almost the same size, and since ps3 games are in HD the game will fill out the screen perfectly with nothing chopped off the edges. Even co-op or splitscreen games are perfect fit on this tv, it's just a Beast!


Don't listen to reviews that this tv is anything but exceptional, especially for only $250.00 it's a Great deal! I would definitely buy it again.
